We are very excited about this Christmas season.  Our Price Point value pieces of Nicaraguan Pottery and South and Central American Fair Trade products make wonderful holiday gifts at very affordable prices.  You can see the obvious quality and detail in these works of art, even though they are sell at retail for less than $30.  The artists of San Juan de Oriente have created beautiful nature, geometric, and pre-columbian designs for this collection and they have proven very popular since we introduced them earlier this year.  Search under our price point category to see our full selection.

As spring time has started and stores are preparing for summer, we thought it would be a nice time to show our appreciation for your support by offering a number of Customer Appreciation Specials on our Nicaraguan Pottery.  Discounts range from 10% up to 30% on several of our most popular items.  These discounts are only available until the end of May though.  

We are getting ready to leave for Managua to get our artisans ready for the 2012 Nicaraguan Pottery orders.  Our San Juan de Oriente Pottery should be especially exciting this coming year.  We will be working with the artisans on many new Nicaraguan pottery designs that we will hopefully be ready to present by February or March.  It takes about 4 months from the time we start a design idea until we can acually see the finished production pieces.  But its so much fun seeing the San Juan de Oriente artisans get excited as their creative ideas start to flow.  

As we prepare to return to Nicaragua to visit our Nicaraguan Pottery artisans, we are excited about the new designs we will be developing with them. The new pieces we brought in this year have been so well received and we are so grateful to all of our customers who have supported us.  We will certainly be continuing these items and expanding some of the themes that you have requested.  We leave in December, so there's still plenty of time for you to give us feedback on what you'd like to see as we prepare for 2012.

The new pieces of Nicaraguan Pottery we brought in this year have been very well recieved.  As we prepare for our next visit to Nicaragua we will be meeting with the artisans to get their ideas on expanding these new designs and make them available in different forms and price points.  As we prepare for next years collection, we will be taking the wonderful feedback we've received to our potters so their creativity can be channeled into pieces that will most effectively serve our customers markets.  Thank all of our for your input and ideas.
